Maybe you’ve never imagined a wedding ceremony in an art gallery because usually, when it comes to weddings, traditions take the lead.
However, on the 14th of August, 2024, Tsitse and Tofaolu decided to flip the script with their unforgettable and unconventional wedding ceremony.
If you’re one of those people who think weddings are all about flowing white dresses and perfectly polished tuxedos, you may have to think again because this couple’s wedding was a true work of art, literally.
The couple said their “I dos” in the most non-traditional way possible—inside an art gallery surrounded by priceless artworks and curated pieces that reminded us that they’re not the average couple.
Forget the grand church aisles; they opted for a space brimming with creativity, curated by the talented folks at AGGS Creatives.
The setting wasn’t just a backdrop; it seemed like an important part of their love story, blending art and love most memorably and magnificently possible. It felt like art was just as important as the vows being exchanged.
With curated exhibitions lining the walls, every piece of art seemed to tell its own story, but none could compete with the story being written by the Tsitse and Tofa in the middle of it all.
Let’s talk about one of their Alté outfits which happens to be our favourite, shall we?
Looking at Tsitse’s outfit, we almost concluded that she could easily have been an exhibit on the wall with all that elegance.
Her dress was a perfect blend of modern and traditional elegance. The gown featured intricate designs that played with textures and colors, reflecting her creative spirit.
The fringe-like details on the dress also added a unique vibe, complementing her arty surroundings. She looked like a bride who walked to the beat of her own drum.
Tofa, on the other hand, ditched the typical black suit for something straight-up Alté art in itself.
He was a vision of retro cool in a brown suit that could have been plucked straight from a ’70s soul album cover.
His afro and the wide lapels of his suit jacket added to the vintage charm, but it was his confidence that really sold the look for us.
It’s not every day you see a groom so effortlessly channellig such a throwback vibe, and we are absolutely here for it.
