4 Iconic Bridal Looks from Nigerian Celebrity Weddings 2024

Do you also agree that this year has been so difficult for the singles? Especially with all the weddings 2024 has blessed us with, we don’t think the God when is stopping anytime soon.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that Nigerian celebrity brides are not here to play and we have no choice but to offer our necks as their footstools so they can step on them.

We’ve rounded up the most iconic bridal looks from this year, 2024 so get ready to update your wedding wishlist (if you have one) and jot things down. You may need an idea or two. Who knows?

1. Sharon Ooja

When Sharon Ooja walked down the aisle, the world stopped to take in her bridal look. If you didn’t, you have to look again.

Sharon, already known for her impeccable style, was adorned in a luxurious white lace outfit that dripped pure elegance. The lace fabric which was delicately embroidered with floral patterns, perfectly hugged her silhouette before flowing gracefully to the floor.

One of the things that stood out to us about this look was the dramatic upper bodice that added a twist to her traditional attire.

Or do we need to talk about her gele which seemed more of a metallic silver work of art sitting high like a crown on her head?

This look was designed by the talented Amy Aghomi and it was both romantic and exquisite.

2. Chioma Adeleke

If you’re looking for a definition of a showstopper, Chioma’s outfit takes the crown. Blending the traditional style with an edgy twist was both bold and beautiful.

She stepped out in a black lace hugging her stunning figure with the sleeves that added a bit of sensuality but without also being over the top.

But what actually stole the show was the structured, corset-like bodice cinching her waist and the use of multi-colored stripes in her dress that added a pop of colour to her dress. Her gele, in black, complemented the outfit making it incredibly stylish, giving us the real assurance that we were all waiting for.

3. Veekee James Atere

We don’t know about you but when a designer is the bride, you should expect nothing less than perfection.

Veekee James has continued to drop jaws since forever and for her wedding, she didn’t come to play. Instead, she came to remind us why she’s a top-tier designer.

The dress, a combination of black and a rich emerald green that transitioned into a deep purple, was pure art.

Is it the delicate beadwork or the lace detailing? This corset-style dress complemented with the coral beads is definitely one for the books, giving luxury and premium elegance.

Veekee’s look was a testament to the fact that she’s not just a designer but also an undeniable style icon.

4. Dimma Umeh

Dimma’s outfit was the perfect mix of elegance and simplicity while still making a bold statement.

This shimmering ombre dress transitioned from deep brown to gold in the most elegant way we’ve ever seen.

Her fabric was delicately embroidered, with gold sequins and beads that seemed to catch the light with every move. She was literally glowing

The off-shoulder neckline was also majestic, commanding attention alongside her necklace, bracelet, and golden gele adding the right amount of sparkle.
